Travels in Canada

hitchBOT is a robot from Port Credit, Ontario.
It traveled over 10,000 km from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Victoria, British Columbia. Seeing that robots cannot get their driver’s licenses yet, hitchBOT hitchhiked its entire way.
hitchBOT’s journey began on Sunday, July 27 2014. It hitched 19 rides and spent a total of 21 days exploring Canada before reaching its final destination ̶ Victoria, British Columbia. hitchBOT made a lot of friends along the way, and shared great memories, including attending a wedding, dancing in Saskatchewan, and meeting some of Canada’s First Nations.
